If you want to teach young people mindfulness, you've got to understand it from the inside out - The Mindfulness in schools project helps schools and youth organisations to develop mindfulness initiatives and Claire's role is to develop classroom friendly materials and train teachers to deliver them.
We get into the struggle of mass implementation, the Myriad project (headed up by Oxford University) one of the largest mindfulness in education research projects, we discuss the 5000 teachers trained and the 500000 children reached, the randomised control trial involving 8000 students and 250 teachers. And the big question ‘Does mindfulness help with exam results’.
